Picture
Summit View is a small congregation with deep roots that is treasured for its warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a smaller group of believers, Summit View is a place to be discipled and to serve, based on Jesus Christ's example of humble servant love. All are welcome. Servant opportunities include prayer, worship team participation, hospitality baking, visitation, food pantry, grounds upkeep or building maintenance, Climbing Higher, per your gifting.

Sunday School is an open forum setting. Attendees will be given a Scripture driven lesson, and are encouraged to participate with questions, and comments. We meet in the fellowship hall at 09:30 am.

Sunday Morning Worship is casual yet worshipful. This is an inter-generational worship service for the whole family. Nursery is provided for children ages birth-4 years of age. Children over the age of four are welcomed into our family worship service as fellow learners and worshipers. The message is biblically-based and preached by ministers who know the congregants. The music selection is a mix of timeless hymns and contemporary worship songs, Scripture readings in line with the Lectionary, and prayer. A time of testimonies marks the beginning of the service before our live stream begins. The worship service starts at 10:50 A.M.

Sunday Evening Small Group meet at 06:00 pm in the fellowship hall. The group meets for one hour and spends time discussing the scripture text from the morning sermon in order to more fully apply it to our lives. After a short discussion on the scripture text, the remainder of the time is spent in prayer.

Wednesday evenings are open to people of all ages. We meet at 7 pm in the fellowship hall for a time of prayer. There is also a time of discussion over prayers from the Scriptures, and prayers from the Book of Common Prayer.

Summit View Church of the Nazarene is an intimate church with a lot going on. It is a community of people who strive to love like God, in which you can be known well, ministered to personally and faithfully participate in the work of God.
